1. Overview

Laundry Label Care (“the App”) is an iOS application that helps you record garment care labels, wash history, photos, and voice notes. We respect your privacy and designed the App so that your garment library is stored primarily on your device.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may access, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information the app uses

The App may process the following information that you provide or generate while using it:

• Garment profiles — names, materials, garment types, season tags, storage locations, and optional cover photos.
• Care records — wash status, wash method, issue tags, notes, label photos, and timestamps.
• Voice notes — optional audio recordings attached to care records.
• Compare data — saved before/after record pairs and optional HD comparison exports you create.
• App settings — display name, wash reminder preferences, notification time, and coin balance.

We do not require you to create an account. The App does not collect your name, email address, or phone number unless you voluntarily contact us for support.

3. Device permissions

The App may request the following iOS permissions. You can deny any optional permission and still use most features.

• Camera — to photograph care labels and garments when you choose to add photos.
• Photo Library — to import label images and save HD comparison exports to your library when you request it.
• Microphone — to record optional voice notes attached to care records.
• Notifications — to deliver local wash reminders for the App or individual garments when you enable them.
• App Tracking Transparency — if presented, this allows the App to request permission before using an advertising identifier for relevant ads. You may decline without losing core App functionality.

4. How data is stored

Garment and care data is saved locally on your iPhone using on-device storage (JSON files and media in the App sandbox). We do not operate a cloud sync service or user account server for your garment library as part of the App.

Photos and voice files remain on your device unless you explicitly export or share them through iOS share sheets or save them to your Photo Library.

5. In-app purchases

The App offers optional coin packs through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with purchase confirmation needed to deliver coins in the App.

6. Advertising & tracking

If the App displays advertising or requests tracking authorization, it will follow Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You can change tracking permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

We do not sell your garment records or care history to third parties.

7. Sharing & exports

You control sharing. When you export a comparison image, share a record summary, or save media to Photos, that content is handled by iOS and any service you choose to share with (Messages, Mail, etc.).

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services you use to share exported content.

8. Data retention & deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it inside the App or remove the App from your iPhone. The App provides a Clear All Data option in Settings that permanently removes garments, records, photos, and voice notes stored by the App.

Uninstalling the App also removes locally stored App data from your device, subject to iOS backup behavior if you use iCloud or iTunes/Finder backups.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will assist with deletion where applicable.

10. Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
